Toyota Aygo Review: A small city car can still be very beautiful

City Cars are becoming much more refined and you won’t have to be slumming it any more, this is particularly true of the Toyota Aygo…

UNTIL relatively recently, city cars were always seen as something of a short straw. Cheap, crude and about as comfortable as a penny farthing they represented motoring at its most basic level: essential transport and little much else.

Today of course all that has changed. In fact the Aygo also perfectly represents the change in attitudes towards small city cars.

With an impressive 760, 000 sales across Europe in the past nine years, Toyota has successfully kept the appeal of the Aygo fresh and relevant with continual updates and special-edition models in the wake of increased competition.
