And Bohemian Rhapsody was the nation’s third favourite tune in a poll of 1,000 UK adults by OSV Ltd.

Other songs featured in the top ten include: Wonderwall by Oasis, Dancing Queen by Abba, Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf and Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon.

Debbie Kirkley, Co-Founder of OSV Ltd said: “The right song has the ability to turn even a traffic jam into an enjoyable experience.”

“It’s great to see a mix of classic rock and pop songs feature in the top ten. Queen songs are regularly listed as top driving songs, but it is also great to see fellow British Band Oasis feature in the list.”

OSV also wanted to find out the nation’s favourite artist to listen to in the car. Unsurprisingly, Queen reigned supreme, beating the likes of Abba and Oasis in the national poll. However, Londoners prefer Michael Jackson, Scots favour Oasis and women voted for Abba.
