Queen’s Bentley Mulsanne Available For Under £200k

Bentley Mulsanne, Queen's car

If – like me – you’ve always fancied owning a piece of the royal motorcade, you might be able to, now that the Queen has put her Bentley Mulsanne Limousine up for sale.

Priced just shy of £200,000, this slice of royal motoring history is being flogged on behalf of the royal family by a Surrey dealership.

The Queen used it exclusively between 2012 and 2014, after which the family retired it.

The car was designed and registered for a spell ferrying the Queen around in mind, and was first used by ma’am during her prestigious diamond jubilee party.

It also took her to her first-ever meeting with cabinet at number 10 Downing Street.

The Bentley Mulsanne

The Bentley Mulsanne is another tip-top addition to the achingly good Bentley canon.

Powerful and commanding, this austere machine comes complete with embroidered Bentley emblems on the seats, as well as 21” alloys.

It can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just less than 5 seconds en route to a max speed of 184mph, and is backed up by a 6.75-litre power plant.

Whether the Queen ever got to experience the thrill of the Mulsanne galloping along at 184mph is up for question. Presumably James hit the pedals whenever she was late for Eastenders.

Inside, the car treats the driver and passengers to suave leather interior, drive info system, and air conditioning.

You can find it on auto trader, where it is advertised as “ex royal household.”
